Spring Fever

Has it been absolutely beautiful today or what?  And I think tomorrow is actually supposed to be a little warmer.  As I look out into the yard & see robins galore, I start getting that feeling & longing for the impending spring.  Since I am on the road to getting caught up on the photography end, there will be time for a little fishing & a lotta' bike riding.  I might even ride the HD to church tomorrow; we'll see.

We're getting ready for a family session at the Great Wolf Lodge so hopefully, I'll have some gorgeous pics to show (with the family's consent, of course).

Thank God it's Friday!  I don't know about you but I'm a little sick & tired of all of this rain.  When I looked out the window earlier, I could have sworn that I saw a boatload of animals go by!  I'm still working on a new Graphi layout so hopefully before too long ...
I've been messing around on Google trying to set up an advertising campaign so I can promote the new website.  We'll see if that does the trick.
Better go ... gotta' put on my life preserver ...

Well ... Vanessa is still working on Emery's pics & I'm dyin' to show 'em; ... too cute!  I've been helping my niece, Meagan on her pre-algebra homework tonight but tomorrow, I'm ready to tackle another wedding album.  The program that I'm using is absolutely awesome!  GraphiStudio in Italy rocks!.  We received albums for two clients within the past few days & now, we gotta' get 'em out to them.  I think they're GREAT & I'm sure the brides (and their mothers) will, too.

According to Punxsutawney Phil, there will be  be more of this mess to come ... maybe as early as this weekend.  I hope he's wrong 'cause I'm gettin' cabin fever & want to get out & ride my bike.  Because of the mess, I haven't ridden it this week.  So, it's time to just do it (but not in the rain).  It's about the end of another broadcast day, so later ...

Newborn Pics

Well, I finished processing the newborn pics.  Perhaps after the parents view the proofs, I'll be able to share Emery on the BLOG; tooooo cute.  Any way, we'll see.
 How 'bout those Saints?  Hopefully the possibility of more crummy weather won't put the damper on too many Super Bowl parties.  We're going to Woody & Cheryl's down on Lake Tillery (if we can make it); and you know, I think I'll be pulling for the Saints.  Carrie Underwood will come across like a champ ... and so will the Saints!  I'm really not worried about Freeny's ankle, I just hope that nobody does anything stupid (or any mujahideen show up, if you know what I mean).

Okay ...

OK, we've had our pretty snow.  I'm ready for the remnants (which are considerable) to melt, dry up, go away, etc.  I went to the post office today, mainly to check out the driving conditions & everything was fine ... just a little messy.  Those in rural areas, I'm sure, tell a different story.  Any way, the world goes on.  Hopefully when I finish processing some newborn pics, I'll be able to share some on them here on the BLOG.  Speaking of which, check out the pic I took last night in front of the studio.  Cool, eh?

Vanessa still hasn't come onto the new BLOG yet (even though I granted her "permission" to make posts).  Right now she's busy finding more pics to publish on the new website.  I'd better get back to work.

I told you so!  Now I'm not a weatherman but weather.com is right on the money.  I've been sitting here in the warmth of my abode eating shrimp bisque (yes, with sherry) & crab legs.  But while I'm currently sitting here  working on the Rev's pics (all by myself) (and listening to Outlaw Country on Sirius), my favorite niece in the whole wide world is across town building her snowman (all by herself).  Now I know I should be out there helping her but somebody's gotta' make a living and burn the candle at both ends.  (Grrrr.)
Tomorrow is Vanessa's birthday & we'll probably be snowed in.  I think she said she was 38 (again) but we'll see how tomorrow goes.  Any way, hasta la vista, baby.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

"It's gonna' be big, Andy!"  Just in case, thank God I don't have a wedding this weekend.  Between the rain, sleet, snow, rain & snow showers, wintry mix and the cold temperatures, I think we're really going to get it socked to us.  Right now (even as the sun is shining), we are under a Winter Storm Warning!  I don't know what the local media is saying but weather.com is predicting HEAVY snow between  9:00 & 11:00.  So get ready for some hot chocolate so you can brave the temperature, go outside & build that snow man/woman.
